(Newswire.net — June 11, 2015) — June 11, 2015) Carrollton, TX – Eleven young pianists from the Miriam Fung Piano Studio entertained seniors at the Corinthians Retirement Community on May 31, 2015. Age 5 to 15, these young pianists offered up a wide variety of music. From Waltz to Pop; from Sonatina to Star Wars; these youngsters gave the seniors an afternoon to remember.

“My daughter really enjoyed playing for all the grandpas and grandmas…” said one of the parents. Another parent shared that the

students’ performance, “brought tears to my eyes.”

“Public performance is an invaluable teaching tool,” says Miriam Fung. “Not only does it provide our students with feedback on their progress, it helps develop their stage presence; build up their self confidence; and an excellent way to say thank you to our seniors who have paved the way. Everyone wanted to do it again!”

The 11 students participated were:

    • Ellie Chau
    • Aaron Malick
    • Elizabeth David
    • Heidi Chen
  • Miles Malick
  • Taylor Ho
