JR. Productions Announces Launch of Junior Reid’s New Living Legend Album

(Newswire.net — August 13, 2015) Kingston, Kingston — Known for international hits such as “One Blood” and “This is Why I’m Hot”, Reid has been working on his latest album for several years. The collection promises to be one of his best yet, with a number of fresh songs and featuring appearances by several top local and international artistes, including Sizzla, Buju Banton, Blaw Minott, Julian Marley and incarcerated Dancehall act, Vybz Kartel. A number of noted producers have also done work on the project, including “Fatta” from Mixing Lab and “Bulbie”.

During the time since his last album, Reid has kept current by doing tours and shows, as well as collaborating with a number of top artistes. One of his latest projects involved combining with leading hip hop artiste, Lil Wayne, on a track called “Murda” on the rap mogul’s controversial Free Weezy Album. A video is already in the works for the track and, with the buzz generated around the collaboration, JR. Productions felt the time was right for the album’s release.

The leadoff track from Living Legend, which is called “Love You Back”, is already in heavy rotation, having been released several months earlier. However, the song is expected to grow in popularity, with a video set to be premiered on Winford Williams’ popular entertainment show, Onstage, on August 15^th. A number of tours and shows, both locally and abroad, are planned to help promote the song and album as Reid aims to reconnect with his fans, many of whom have been anticipating the album’s release. His fan base includes supporters of reggae and dancehall music, along with lovers of hip hop.
