Connecticut Urgent Care Centers to Showcase Occupational Medicine Services at Local Expo

(Newswire.net — September 21, 2015) Cromwell, CT — For more than 25 years, the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce has been hosting the annual Business 2 Business Expo, highlighting companies and organizations from Cromwell and the surrounding communities. This year, Connecticut Urgent Care Centers is pleased to announce their participation in this growing event. 

During this experience, businesses have the opportunity to introduce themselves to other members of the community, as well as showcase products and services to fit a vast array of business needs.

Connecticut Urgent Care Centers will be using this event to present their Occupational Medicine services to approximately 5,000 participants. Services to be highlighted will include: pre-employment exams, DOT drug testing and physicals, treatment of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries, minor chemical exposure and burn treatment, treatment of sprains and fractures, foreign object removal, occupational vaccinations, vision exams, urinalysis and blood tests, diagnostic testing, like X-rays, ECGs, and more.
In addition to standard Occupational Medicine services, Connecticut Urgent Care Centers’ staff will be on hand to discuss options to develop personalized plans tailored to suit each business’ needs, including: detailed testing protocols, desired methods of treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses, and specialized communication procedures.

CT Urgent Care will also be available to discuss care for Worker’s Compensation patients. Businesses are encouraged to send injured workers to CT Urgent Care for initial evaluation, care and referral (if necessary).
