A Shoe In Fashion, the web super center for fashion advice and shopping tips, recently covered the new Scott Tucker fair trade store announcement on their blog in an article. The new store from Tucker will be the businessman’s first, featuring exclusively fair trade certified clothing and accessories.
“When we heard about this man Scott Tucker and his idea for an online fair trade clothing shop we we’re all thrilled,” says A Shoe In Fashion contributor Brit Gunner. “There isn’t a reason in the world why we don’t need more fair trade focus shops like this one. We are anxious for the grand opening of the shop so we can raid his closet and see what is what.”
The fair trade clothing store will operate online exclusively and feature certified fair trade clothing for men, women, and children from more than 10 different countries. The store will accept major credit cards as well as bitcoin.
“I was inspired by an American company that is well known for selling sweat shop free clothing,” says Tucker. “There is no need for clothing to be causing such suffering in the world, the greed behind it has to go. Beautiful clothing can and is being produced around the world, and not just in the styles you imagine, not just the boring basics, not the just ethnic and bright, there are almost endless options for fair trade.”
The store will carry clothing available for purchase in any price range. Item’s that are put on sale and not purchased after a six month period will then be donated to the Goodwill stores of Portland, OR.
Tucker will begin operation of his ‘Stay Fair’ fair trade clothing and accessory store this fall with plans for a grand opening ceremony online this December. A Shoe In Fashion detailed Tucker’s grand opening plan’s and will follow up with another blog post after the shop is fully operational.
