( — December 9, 2015) Honolulu, Hawaii — BeeStripe, LLC recently announced the opening of the company’s new operations center in the Philippines. On November 23, 2015, the company had a ribbon cutting ceremony at the facility, located in Ortigas Center, Manila. In attendance were company CEO Aaron Lovelace, COO Ciaran Thompson, and Chairman Steve Markowitz. The facility will house software developers, administration staff, and a marketing team. Planning for the facility began about two years ago, when the company first began working with remote contractors in the region. “Opening a permanent operations center made sense,” says Aaron Lovelace, CEO. “Market demand for our company’s products and the high performance of this team makes this operations center a vital part of our company infrastructure.”

The company is best known for its innovative privacy-friendly search engine and free browser extension called SearchLock. Available for the popular Chrome, Safari, and Firefox web browsers, this extension protects users from the tracking of web search terms that search engine companies, Internet service providers, and workplaces often subject people to. It is designed to protect search privacy by detecting tracking attempts, redirecting user search queries to a secure, encrypted page viewable only by the end user. The company has incorporated advanced encryption strategies including the Perfect Forward Secrecy protocol to the extension, keeping users safe from unwanted tracking of searches tied to personally-identifying data.

The extension has been downloaded over 500,000 times, and it has also received the coveted TRUSTed Download rating from the world’s premier data privacy firm TRUSTe. The Manila operations center is proof that the company is moving in the right direction, expanding into new territories as demand for its products continues to grow. “Our operations center helps our company develop new products and services to meet the ever-changing demands of the Web,” adds Aaron. “We’re excited by the potential of the center in helping us carry out our development plans.”
