(Newswire.net — February 20, 2016) Whittier, NV — In October 2015, Laredo, Texas City Council approved an ordinance banning drivers from using any handheld or electronic devices while driving, which includes being stopped at a stop sign or at a red light. This has been in response to the high number of cell phone related car crashes that have happened within the State of Texas, a 49% increase from 2014 to 2015. The ordinance is to take effect on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, with the police issuing $200 citations for anyone who disobeys the law.

According to Kgns.tv, the Laredo police revealed a new logo and its message for its campaign to break people of their habit of using their phones while driving: “I won’t talk, text and drive. #getoffthephone.” In case of emergency, drivers can answer their phone. In all other cases, they must pull over to the side of the road and park.

Human dependency on the cell phone is not something that will end quickly. It has become so strong that people have started to become nomophobic—or afraid of their cell phone dying.

“Imagine the day you can say- ‘Just give me 15 minutes and I’ll have my phone charged up for a whole weekend!’ That day has finally arrived with the launch of ASAP Dash,” says Vinson Leow, founder of the ASAP Dash, the world’s fastest pocket sized phone charger. “Unlike other rapid charge chargers which have a tiny capacity (under 2,000 mAh), ASAP Dash stores an incredible 5,000mAh keeping your phone going for more than 48 hrs. The ASAP Dash can store the power of three iPhones in 15 minutes!”

“Our patented fast charge technology puts us miles ahead of the nearest competition both in charge speed and size of the charger allowing you always be on-the-go. It’s the first charger in the world to give you a whole weekend of charge that’s pocket sized,” explains Leow.

People’s decency on cell phones forces them to want them to be charged, and fast. Because of their nomophobia, they are afraid of doing anything or going anywhere without their phones. Leow’s company https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/asap-dash-world-s-fastest-pocket-sized-charger#/ lessens the nomophobia and is guaranteed to get any cell phone charged and fast. “With your help not only will you help kickstart the next generation of batteries and change the world’s expectations of charging speeds, you’ll bring us one step closer to furthering future applications of this technology. Imagine a world with unlimited battery power, living life unplugged and always on-the-go. Help us bring the fast charge battery revolution today,” exclaims Leow.

While people may not be able to drive while using their cell phones, they can rest easily knowing that they will always have a fully charged phone while using the ASAP Dash.
