(Newswire.net — February 13, 2016) Santa Ana, California — California-based skateboard ramp manufacturer OC Ramps had a special treat for the pro skaters on its roster during a recent photo shoot in Huntington Beach.  A rare 1949 Chrysler Town and Country Woody convertible was the guest of honor, used as both backdrop and as an obstacle for the skaters to jump over.  The car has been in the company owner’s family for many years, and is a lovingly restored example of the classic and unique vehicle. “We’ve been looking for an excuse to use this car in one of our company photo shoots,” says Tyler Large, president of the ramp manufacturing firm.  “Our riders loved it and it really helped capture that sunny California vibe in the photos we took.”  To learn more about the company and the photo shoot featuring the car, visit https://www.ocramps.com/huntington-beach-woody-jump/.

For this event, the company rounded up several prominent skaters, including Tom Tom, Greg Lutzka, and Nick Palmquist. The photo shoot required several changes in venue before completion.  It started in Huntington Beach near the world-famous Huntington Pier and soon was forced to move to two other locations in and around the city, thanks to some unwanted attention from law enforcement authorities.  The skaters were instructed to avoid damaging the car at all costs during the shoot and the skate sessions that accompanied the photographing. OC built a custom launch ramp for the occasion.

Like everything the company does, OC Ramps made this photo shoot something truly memorable for its fans and for its pro skaters.  The family-owned and -operated company has been in the business of engineering and constructing custom skateboard ramps since 1997, and they are based in Santa Ana, California.  In addition to the wide range of ramps, rails, pipes, and obstacles the company constructs, the firm is also well-known for helping cities and private individuals develop world-class skateboarding parks.  As licensed contractors and expert designers, the company can manufacture and install both wooden and concrete ramps in the Southern California area.  “Using our family’s classic car for this photo shoot gave us a lot of ideas for future projects,” adds Tyler.  “Our fans should be pretty blown away by what we come up with next.”  To learn more about the company and their product range, visit https://www.ocramps.com/
