Federal Court Rules on a True Conspiracy

A conspiracy by the AMA may sound like a crazy suggestion, but that is literally what happened, according to the federal district judge who tried the case when chiropractors filed a lawsuit to stop the smear campaign by the AMA. At the time of the ruling, the New York Times published excerpts from Judge Susan Getzendanner’s ruling, including, ”labeling all chiropractors unscientific cultists and depriving chiropractors of association with medical physicians, injury to reputation was assured by the A.M.A.’s name-calling practice.” She also described the AMA’s behavior as ”systematic, long-term wrongdoing and the long-term intent to destroy a licensed profession.”

Such blatant misdirection by the AMA may have ceased, but the shadow of the false information campaign still taints the relationship between its members and chiropractors.
