The Innovation Challenge ’16 awards luncheon honored winners of the seventh annual Innovation Challenge at North Dakota State University. This program focuses on the exciting, creative research and development projects under way at North Dakota State University. The Innovation Challenge ’16 Competition showcases the outstanding and innovative work of North Dakota State University Students. Twenty-five teams were named finalists and competed for cash prizes as they presented projects that solve real-world problems, advance technology and create new business opportunities. This year entrants competed in four tracks
1) Agriculture innovations
2) Product innovations
3) Service innovations
4) Social innovations
Over 250 people attended the event.
About Dr. Roger Firestien
Dr. Roger L. Firestien holds a Ph.D. in Communication and a Master of Science degree in Creativity and Innovation from the State University of New York. He is the Senior Faculty Member at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY-Buffalo State. His work at the Center focuses on training graduate students to be facilitators and trainers in creativity and innovation. Dr. Firestien is the author of over 80 articles, books, audio and video programs.
