Herrman & Herrman Announces a Prom Package Giveaway to Raise Awareness of Risk of Snapchat

Herrman & Herrman’s goal through the social media campaign is to make the public more aware of the serious risks that drivers are taking when they use Snapchat to upload videos or photos while driving. Snapchat is a video and photo-sharing app particularly popular among teenagers. But using Snapchat while driving diverts a driver’s attention from the task of driving and can lead to serious and fatal car accidents. 

In fact, a 2015 study by Liberty Mutual Insurance and Students Against Destructive Decisions found that Snapchat topped the list of apps that caused the most distraction among young drivers. 

“We know that young people can come up with some clever tweets, underscoring the riskiness of snapping while driving,” said Gregory H.
