Hotel and Winery Join Forces for A Good Cause

(Newswire.net — April 6, 2016) Vancouver, British Columbia — Delta Vancouver Suites is partnering with Poplar Grove Winery to hold the Fourth Annual Community Table: Tastes of BC Fundraising Event on Friday, May 6^th, 2016. Proceeds from the event will go to the Downtown Eastside organization, Mission Possible.

The event, will be held at Delta Vancouver Suites, and feature a five course meal expertly prepared by Executive Chef Tee Jai Conwi and the team from the hotel. Each dish will be expertly paired with amazing wines from Poplar Grove Winery. ??? from Poplar Grove winery will be on hand to describe and tell the story behind each wine.

This culinary journey will take people from sea to field with ingredients from local farmers and purveyors of British Columbia.

We love the work that they accomplish on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with people who are challenged by homelessness and poverty,” said Peter Catarino, Delta Vancouver Suites General Manager.
