Roger Firestien’s Upcoming Seminar in Buffalo, NY

(Newswire.net — April 14, 2016) Williamsville, NY — Dr. Roger Firestien senior faculty member at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY Buffalo State will deliver a series of programs on creativity designed to help entrepreneurs capitalize on business opportunities, develop innovative ideas, and create new inventions. The seminars will be held on April 20, May 4, May 18 and June 8 at the Thomas R. Beecher, Jr.  Innovation Center in Buffalo, New York. 

Continuing to build upon his recent keynote address titled “Celebrating Innovation- How to be deliberately creative,” Dr. Firestien will cover some of the topics that include: Breakthrough thinking: How to become deliberately creative; visioning to create your future and the future of your company; how to apply creativity methods in your company for sustained innovation, and methods to create radical “out of the box” ideas.  

The Innovation Center, powered by the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Inc. is the largest business incubator in Buffalo, New York.  It is home to d!g (Design Invention Garage) 43North, Z80 Labs, and some of the fastest growing, most successful companies and start-ups in the region. The Innovation Center provides workspace, education, business resources, and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs and young companies.  

Sessions are from 8:30 to 10:30 in “Learn at the Innovation Center.” Admission to the entire series of seminars is complimentary, however pre-registration is mandatory in order to attend. 

About Roger Firestein

Dr. Roger Firestien earned a Master of Science degree from the State University of New York, where he also holds a Ph.D. in Communications. He is a senior faculty member at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY-Buffalo State. His contributions to the center focus on training graduate students to become facilitators trainers in creativity and innovation. Dr. Firestien has authored over 80 articles, books, audio and video programs. His current views on innovation and creativity have been published in The New York Times, Buffalo Business First, The Journal of Creative Behavior, Creativity Research Journal, National Productivity Review, Delta Airlines Sky Magazine, Young Executive Magazine, Entrepreneur, Training Magazine, and Self Magazine.
