(Newswire.net — April 30, 2016) Ferndale, WA — A new service designed to help businesses manage and improve their online reputation is open for business starting today.

Reputation Management Help provides an easy way for small businesses to improve the way their business is perceived by casual viewers on the Internet.

The company spokesperson, Sam DeMars, said her new service works to improve a business’s reputation by increasing the number of good reviews and positive online mentions that a company receives.

“This service is for the small business owner who is troubled because they see one or two unkind things written about their company when they do a search for their business online,” stated DeMars, “And we try to help that owner by replacing that bad review with a positive one.”

“Look, we can’t control what people on the Web say about a business,” continued DeMars, “But what we can do is increase the exposure of the good things that are said about a business and, hopefully, downplay the one or two bad things that someone may have written about that company.”

“While we can do some good things, let’s be realistic of what we can actually get done,” she said, “We can’t go to a third-party website, such as Yelp, and have them remove a review just because it shows a business in a bad light. But what we try to do is increase the number and strength of the positive reviews and mentions of that business. And then all those good reviews and stories start to crowd out the one or two bad ones.”

You Get Just One Online Reputation

While business owners are obviously concerned about their customer’s happiness, DeMars stated that many of them don’t think too much about their online reputation until that first unflattering review shows up.

“That first unflattering online review can be a real eye-opener for the small business owner,” DeMars said, “Up to that point, many of them have simply concentrated on doing a good job and trying to make sure every customer leaves happy, but most of them haven’t thought about what a disgruntled customer’s remarks in print would look like.”

“When you own a small business, it kind of hurts when you see a bad review of your company on the Internet, especially if that review seems to show up every time you do an online search for your business,” concluded DeMars, “And that’s exactly what our service tries to help with.”

DeMars said her service is flexible and can work with almost any local business, no matter how small that company may be.

She also mentioned she is also interested in hearing from anyone who has gone through the process of trying to improve their Web reputation and would like to discuss their experience. For details, you can visit http://www.reputationmanagementhelp.com.
