( — June 3, 2016) — This past February, Pastry released their newest sneaker line – the Military Glitz Combat Boot Sneaker. The new sneaker has been received extremely well by dance troupes, cheerleading teams, and performers worldwide.

Pastry was started in 2007 by Angela and Vanessa Simmons, daughters of rapper and hip-hop music pioneer Joseph Simmons and with the goal of creating dance footwear that could be worn fashionably on and off the dance floor. Pastry has since become known as America’s top Dance Sneaker.

“Pastry Sneakers will be the leading shoe in the dance industry this coming season for recreational and seasoned dancers alike,” states Danielle Hernandez, CEO of On 1 Dancewear, a New Jersey-based online dancewear store and Pastry retailer. “The shoe is smart, fashionable and can be worn from studio to street. It gives the dancer style without compromising skill execution.”

The Military Glitz sneakers have already been featured on many stages and professional arenas. The Chicago Luvabulls, cheerleaders to the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, were seen sporting the new dance sneaker last March, a break from their usual Glam Pie Glitter.

The popular dance sneaker is described as a combination between a military boot and casual sneaker. It features a memory foam footbed for unparalleled comfort and a side zipper for quick costume changes.
