Lanny Wolfe Songs Get Featured in 3ABN World Magazine

(Newswire.net — July 20, 2016) Sugar Land, TX — Lanny Wolfe songs have just been featured in a cover story by the 3ABN World Magazine in their July 2016 issue. The featured story, entitled The Story Behind the New Project—Cavary/Love Found a Way, features six of Lanny Wolfe songs and includes three new co-writes. It also included stories behind these songs.

Lanny Wolfe is an American musician, Gospel songwriter, music publisher and music teacher. His original music was released by a group he founded called the Lanny Wolfe Trio which consisted of himself, Dave Petersen, and Marietta Webster, his then-wife. After Dave Petersen’s and Marietta’s departure from the group, other members were eventually added. This group then performed as Lanny Wolfe and the Lanny Wolfe Trio. The latter group consisted of young artists which were mostly taken from the Jackson College of Ministries student body.

Lanny also established the NMMC (National Music Ministry Conference) to help improve music within the United Pentecostal Church. Although Lanny did not originally want to be a songwriter, he started writing his first song at the age of 16. He initially dreamed of becoming an architect, but songs started to come naturally to him. Since the beginning of his career, he has already written 700 songs and 14 musicals. One of his songs, entitled More Than Wonderful, won Song of the Year in the GMA Dove Awards of 1984. Influenced by a variety of artists such as John W. Peterson, Bill and Gloria Gaither, Dottie Rambo, Audrey Meier and Dallas Holmes, Lanny’s songwriting often features complex chords and progressions as well as simple and repetitive lyrics and the conversational style of singing. Today, Lanny serves as the CEO for Paradigm Music Productions. He spends his time writing and conducting choir clinics at churches across the United States. Sometimes, he also accompanies the members of his original group for reunion concerts.

In fact, in this new project of the 3ABN World, Lanny performed with Marietta as part of the 3ABN Celebration Choir. The event recently premiered at the 3ABN Worship Center, West Frankfort, IL, featuring 3ABN artists and guest artists along with the Celebration Choir which consisted of Nashville studio singers who had been involved in the project along with 3ABN artists and personnel. Lanny Wolfe and Marietta were very excited to be part of the 3ABN Celebration Choir.

The premiere was televised in front of a live audience and was viewed via 120 stations around the world.  A live recording CD accompanied by a DVD is set to be released to the general public in the next following weeks.
