Columbus Ohio Sleep Apnea Dentist to be Keynote Speaker

(Newswire.net — August 22, 2016) Flower Mound, TEXAS — Columbus Ohio Sleep Apnea Dentist Mark Levy DDS has been chosen as the keynote speaker at the 2016 X Russian Conference. The conference, entitled “Actual Problems of Somnology,” will be held at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in Moscow, Russia on November 16-17, 2016. Dr. Levy’s lecture, entitles “Oral appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring,” will focus on sleep apnea treatment using oral appliances.

Dr. Levy will travel to Moscow, Russia to share his experience and knowledge on sleep apnea treatments. Sleep apnea is a very common disorder that results in one or more pauses while breathing or what some refer to as shallow breathing. These pauses can last anywhere from a few seconds to minutes. They can occur repeatedly occuring thirty or more times per hour. AFter each apnea, normal breathing begins and often starts with a choing sound or loud snort.

Columbus Ohio sleep apnea dentist Dr. Mark Levy is considered an expert in the field and was chosen to be a keynote speaker at the conference. Dr. Levy is no stranger to traveling to Russia. Dr. Levy spoke at the international gathering of dental professionals on Sleep Apnea and its treatments during the Russian Dental Association’s Dental-Expo in Moscow in 2010.Dr. Levy and his wife Cynthia have lectured nationally and have trained other dentists in sleep apnea dentistry. Dr. Levy also lectured to healthcare providers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia and has plans to continue to teach abroad, bringing awareness of obstructive sleep apnea to the Russian medical community.
