Dr. Steve Broe Challenges And Inspires Alumni And Scholars

(Newswire.net — November 15, 2016) Phoenix, Arizona –Phoenix executive business coach Dr. Steve Broe appeared as an invited speaker at an alumnus “Meet and Greet” event held at a Phoenix based hotel in early October. The School of Advanced Studies, part of the University of Phoenix, asked Dr. Broe to address his fellow alumni at the fall gathering. The event wincluded new doctoral students entering the program in the last quarter of 2016. Broe graduated from the program in 2008.

 Broe’s message included a reflection of what he learned on his journey to become a doctor of management. He also revealed how he is making the community a better place. Broe has been listed as a mentor with the School of Advanced Studies (SAS), offering his help to new doctoral scholars.

This was the second opportunity Broe has had to speak to students enrolled in the program, and also the second time that Broe has spoken to University of Phoenix alumnus.

Broe says, “There are many challenging moments for people working on their doctoral degree. Although these students are often incredibly smart and dedicated, many are not ready for the emotional upheaval that can come from the journey to be recognized as a doctoral scholar and practitioner. I share moments of my doubts and how I found the strength to move forward. I want to remind alumnus that others have helped them; it is their turn to help others.”

The School of Advanced Studies specializes in leadership studies for doctoral scholars through the University of Phoenix. Since graduating from the School of Advanced Studies, Broe has published two books on leadership and has coached executives in business.
