Anchor Appliance Opens Phase One of New Showroom

The company is steadily recovering after a huge fire hit their store on July 30^th of this year.

The 8,000 square foot building that housed Anchor Appliance for many years was destroyed by the fire, along with around $1 million in stock and contents. Owner Butch Dieckman said that he should have been put out of business following this massive loss. However, he decided to keep the business going. The company was able to service all of their 65 customers on the day after the fire.

According to reports, the fire started around 5:00 pm, right after one of the company’s employees locked up for the day. Deputy fire marshal Bob Cook said that it was caused by an air conditioner motor seizing up and catching fire. The three-alarm fire destroyed Anchor Appliance but they are quickly rebuilding.

Anchor Appliance has been able to survive this huge hurdle, thanks in part to the loyal client base it has amassed over the years. Many of the residents living by the destroyed store have expressed their strong support, offering words of encouragement to the company’s executives and staff.

“The feedback from the community when they saw our trucks rolling Monday was awesome,” said Butch, referring to the day after the fire hit the store.
