(Newswire.net — November 29, 2016) — IoT, short for the Internet of Things, is gaining notable speed, and IoT solutions are now solving business problems across many markets all over the world. IoT is becoming an increasingly growing topic of conversation not only in the workplace, but out of it also. It not only has the potential to impact how we work but also how we live. In basic terms, this is the concept of connecting any electronic device to the Internet and/or to each other. This includes cellphones, computers, televisions, dishwashers, washing machines, headphones, wearable devices and almost any other device with an on and off switch. This also applies to components of machines, if it has an on and off switch then chances are it can be a part of the IoT. The Internet of Things  is a connected network of devices, but can also include people. If it can be connected, chances are at some point in the future, it will be connected.

As part of the Silicon Valley IoT Meetup, Startups Greater Asia Meetup, and IEEE Consultants’ Network Joint Workshop, Dr. Alex G. Lee, TechIPm & Liquidax Capital, will explore innovation insights and analyze patent trends in IoT vertical markets such as smart homes, smart cities, wearables, connected car and more, in addition, looking into the state of the art of IoT innovations. He will dive into the potential innovation R&D areas that can lead to the development of new products and services. Topics that will be covered include:

  • IoT Innovation Frontiers Insights from Patents,

  • IoT Innovation Development Exploiting Patents

  • IoT + Big Data + AI Integration Strategy

  • IoT Innovation Platform for Business Growth

  • Cross-border IoT Tech Transfer Deal Trends

  • Leveraging Strengths in the Asian and US IoT Markets
