New Migraine Study is Great News for Stamford, Darien

(Newswire.net — January 25, 2017) Darien, CT — Clinical trials for a new treatment studying the effects of low level laser ability to stop migraine signals is about to get underway in March. This is great news for people suffering with headaches that do not respond to pharmacological intervention. My question is what took them so long? Several years ago I read an abstract in the Academy of Integrative Pain Management describing the treatment. The use of Low Level Laser appeared to have three beneficial effects on migraine headaches not found in pharmacological intervention.
