DANI Naturals, organic body care company, has new owner

(Newswire.net — April 20, 2017) Bend, Oregon — Shannon Vetras has become the new owner of DANI Naturals. DANI Naturals is an all-natural and organic body care company, creating candles, lotions, diffusers, hand and body wash, shampoo, conditioner, sugar scrubs and more. The sale was finalized on Feb. 1, 2017. Vetras, a Washington native with a background in the tech industry, is excited to grow the all-female operated company.

DANI Naturals was created in 1996 by Danielle Nye, who first began by creating soaps.  When Nye moved to Bend, she began selling soaps and candles. After several years, the company was sold to new owners. When Vetras moved to town, she was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit in Bend, and had dreams of becoming a business owner. A friend, who was neighbors with the former owners, turned her onto DANI, and the rest is history.

Vetras has many plans for growing the boutique company, including adding new scents, and new products within existing scents. The company has always used natural herb and flower extracts, organic oils and butters to create high-end, spa-quality products. The company makes lotions, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, sugar scrubs, hand wash, candles, and oil diffusers.

During the changes in ownership over the years, some products and scents were discontinued or simplified. Vetras plans to bring back some beloved scents and products. The scents for bath and body products currently available include Coconut Hibiscus, Lemongrass Lavender, Pear and Grapefruit Ginger. Other scents available in candles and diffusers are Pine, Passion Fruit, Applewood & Moss, Mistletoe, Vanilla and the ever-changing Bend Candle.

DANI products are featured locally in Newport Market, Nashelle, several spas, and local hotels, such as The Oxford Hotel and Wall Street Suites. DANI Naturals can be found nationwide, including a few international destinations.
