( — April 28, 2017) Mays Landing, NJ –Multiple indicators show that a major economic comeback is in the works for southern New Jersey.  After years of stagnant growth, local residents, business owners, and market analysts are finally seeing an upswing in economic activity.

Dot Com Business Changes

One southern New Jersey company poised to capitalize on the emerging opportunities is DotCom Global Media. DotCom is an established website design and digital marketing agency operating in the southern New Jersey area since 1995.

Having felt the pinch of the economic recession several years ago, DotCom closed down their office in 2008 as a cost-cutting initiative – forcing their team to work remotely. For the past 9 years, DotCom has (like many local companies) experienced stagnant growth.  However, the past 12 months have produced a dramatic change.

With double-digit and triple-digit growth in sales and revenue in 2016, DotCom also added over a dozen new employees to the payroll. But all of this growth also created a real challenge.  The owners of DotCom, Sam and Anna Natello, have grown fond of working from home. Yet the growth of the business has created a need for the “core team” to be on-location most, if not all, of the time.

Finding the Right Space

The solution?  Sam and Anna relocated their family and the new DotCom office to Mays Landing, NJ. The location makes for an accessible office but is also private enough to feel like home. DotCom Global Media’s new headquarters is spacious with a completely separate working area for the team and is walking distance from the local shopping mall, nestled in a beautiful country club.

The elaborate layout of the house includes a conference room for meetings, a fully wired-in presentation space for hosting clients, and a spacious computer lab where the solid work hours are spent. Out back, there is a pool and a pool house and an outdoor sitting area complete with a fire pit. This space will easily lend itself to hosting mixers and special events for clients while also providing a great home for their family.

Local Business Environment

There is new energy surrounding shopping centers, recreation, real estate, and tech companies. Atlantic City’s multi-billion dollar casino Revel is set to reopen by Presidents Day weekend. New construction and store openings, repaved and expanded roadways, and tourist attractions are good signs that South Jersey is doing business again.

A few months back, Governor Chris Christie passed a bill to help small business in New Jersey. With a renewed focus on business and the economy, the government is positioned to remove unnecessary obstacles and support the efforts of business owners.

Smart Moves for 2017

DotCom Global Media’s new location is more than just an upgrade… it’s a strategic move towards stronger relationships and greater business opportunities. Building a bigger team and moving to Mays Landing was a smart response to the changing business environment.

The tech business is trending sharply up. Atlantic County is making a comeback. The demand for digital marketing and web designers in New Jersey grows as new businesses open and existing ones work hard to fend off the competition. DotCom is fortunate to have a strong position in both web design and digital marketing, and they are positioned to help new clients in 2017.
