( — August 8, 2017) Orlando, FL — The human papilloma virus has long been thought to cause warts. There are creams and medications available, but there are also natural remedies thought to be effective in fighting the condition.

Green tea is believed to be one of the best natural remedies for warts. Green tea is an ancient, medicinal beverage that has been consumed for centuries.

“This drink contains powerful antioxidants that are thought to be responsible for many of its health effects,” said Mary Jackson, the spokesperson of Divine Bounty.

Warts, on the other hand, can cause dryness, itchiness, and even pain. It is caused by HPV, which infects the skin’s top layer. The virus typically enters in the broken areas of the skin.

Wart forms when the virus starts triggering the top layer of the skin to grow rapidly. The good news is that a majority of cases of warts typically go away on their own within months or years.

There are different kinds or warts and they actually grow anywhere on the body. For instance, it is the hands that are typically affected by common warts. Plantar warts usually grow on the soles of the feet.

Warts are contagious, and they spread by direct contact with HPV. Former wart sufferers can be infected again by touching a wart and then another part of the body. It can also spread by sharing razors, towels, and other personal items.

Once a person is infected with HPV, it can actually take months for the wart to grow and become noticeable. While warts can easily spread, there are people who are more likely to get this skin condition than others.

Warts can develop and appear in varying shapes and sizes. There are warts that appear as a bump with a rough surface while others are flat and smooth. Small blood vessels, which grow into the wart’s core, supply the growth with blood.

While warts are often painless, they can be painful when they affect skin areas that are constantly exposed to pressure. This may include skin areas of the finger or at the bottom of the foot.

Green tea is believed to be an effective remedy for warts due to its antioxidants. Wart sufferers may consume 2 to 3 cups of green tea on a daily basis to decrease the HPV action on the skin. Teabags can also be applied directly on the affected skin.

Sufferers may let the tea bag cool down before applying it to the wart. The bag should be allowed to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. This can be done three times a day until the wart dries and falls out.
