(Newswire.net — October 21, 2017) San Francisco , CA — Retail MBA has hosted three live events since 2016 for businesses wishing to get products into retail chain stores such as Wal-Mart. Due to popular demand, Retail MBA has decided to bring back the Retail MBA Live Event for the fourth time.
Retail MBA was founded by Karen Waksman, a former manufacturer representative turned author and speaker. From her experience as a rep, Waksman has developed a proven sales methodology for selling physical products into big chain stores. Her Retail MBA Training Program provides step-by-step strategies for small to mid-size companies to get their physical products noticed by representatives at large retailers such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kroger Grocery Stores, etc.
The Retail MBA Live Event is an offshoot from their original core Retail MBA Training Program. Throughout the day long event, prospective product sellers will learn about selling products into retail chain stores, strategies to receive purchase orders, how to sell large quantities of a product once a product is in stores to ensure repeat orders with chain stores, how to expand into other distribution strategies, etc. Furthermore, those who attend will receive access to the online Retail MBA Training Program, which includes 20 hours of tips and strategies on how to get products into stores. Waksman will also coach each attendee, answer questions and give personalized tips to create the best pitch to share with retailers.
The most unique aspect of the Retail MBA Live event is that Waksman has partnered with big retailers interested in reviewing products from attendees from the live event. Additionally, attendees will leave the event with a list of retail buyers’ contact information so they can reach out to retail chains immediately with their product.
Karen Waksman partnered with retailers such as Wal-Mart and CVS in the past for different events that she has hosted. At the upcoming event, there will be more opportunities to get in front of buyers from retail chains. Previous Retail MBA LIVE event attendees have expressed their appreciation for Waksman and her live event after becoming Walmart suppliers.
“I attended her Retail MBA Program and I learned so much about how to get your product into big retail stores. Between her workbook as well as her wonderful teaching and her guest speakers, it was instrumental in my journey,” said Lisa, an attendee of the previous Retail MBA Live Event. “While I was there, I also got to have a meeting with Wal-Mart and they loved the product and I’m in the midst of creating some kind of a partnership with them and getting my game into Wal-Mart!”
This fourth run of Retail MBA Live event will be located in San Diego, California. The sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through until 6 p.m. Registration for the event the day of will begin at 8 a.m.
Physical product companies can learn more about the Retail MBA Live Event, watch testimonial videos, and reserve one of the limited seats for the event on the Retail MBA’s website.
