(Newswire.net — November 6, 2017) Vancouver, BC — For the ninth year running, Espressotec Sales & Service will be caffeinating artists and attendees alike with specialty coffees as they make their way to the 21st annual Eastside Culture Crawl

The four-day creative extravaganza, part of which takes place around the corner from Espressotec’s storefront on Parker Street in Vancouver, aims to inspire, educate and engage the community in visual arts — a mission that Espressotec hopes to support by providing a place to warm up and toast the event with a piping cup of coffee by donation.

“There’s always a fantastic parade of folks passing by our store on their way to studios in the area,” says Alison Ensworth, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Espressotec. “As it’s the end of November and the weather isn’t always too friendly, people seem grateful for a cup of something hot to sip en route. It’s great to have the opportunity to participate in such a vibrant community event in a way that also comforts and caffeinates.”

In the past, Espressotec has served tea, coffee, and espresso-based drinks to the crowds in return for a donation to the Eastside Culture Crawl Society (ECCS); this year, they’ve added milk-based specialty coffee beverages to their offerings, both as a way to attract more donations and to engage with the art theme through latte art. “Specialty coffee is itself a craft, and latte art is one of the ways the creativity and talent of the industry shines,” Ensworth explains. “Vancouver is home to so many talented artists, including some incredibly talented baristas, so our coffee station (and the latte art we’ll be pouring) is a celebration of that.”

Espressotec has also donated two Latte Art 101 classes, along with a bag of freshly-roasted coffee beans, to the ECCS Take Flight Benefit and Culture Crawl Festival Launch silent auction. Their coffee station, located in the front parking lot on Clark Drive and Parker Street, will be open on Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, November 19th from 11am to 5pm. The store will also be open during those periods.  To learn more about Espressotec Sales & Service, visit their website at https://www.espressotec.com.
