Paul J. Burkhart Welcomes Maxwell Christiansen to Palm Beach Gardens Law Firm

(Newswire.net — November 28, 2017) Palm Beach Gardens, Florida — The Law Offices of Paul J. Burkhart is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Maxwell M. Christiansen to their legal team.

Attorney Paul J. Burkhart, who established the firm in 2004, is thrilled to have Christiansen come on board: “The firm is extremely excited to welcome Mr. Christiansen into our family. His interest and background in intellectual property law will add to our ability to continue serving our clients’ business needs at higher levels”.

Christiansen was born and raised in the Palm Beaches, Florida by his parents, attorney John T. Christiansen and Susan Christiansen, Ph.D. He attended The Benjamin School before becoming a student-athlete at Emory University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 2012.

Christiansen graduated from The University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2016 with a Juris Doctor and Certificate in Intellectual Property. While in law school, he was senior editor of UF Law’s Journal of Technology Law & Policy, which publishes articles that focus on “grey area” legal issues surrounding modern technology. Christiansen’s own authored note will be published this year.

During his summers in law school, Christiansen interned at the United States Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia and Lott & Fischer, PL, a boutique intellectual property litigation firm in Miami, Florida. Christiansen also completed an internship in the legal department of Exactech, Inc., a NASDAQ-traded medical device manufacturer in Gainesville, Florida during his last semester.

Christiansen began his legal career at the law firm of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, where he handled claims on behalf of injury victims. He joined The Law Offices of Paul J. Burkhart this fall.
