Industrial Plastic Supply Inc. Announces New President

(Newswire.net — February 9, 2018) Anaheim, CA — Hayden Hess has been promoted from General Manager to President of Industrial Plastic Supply, Inc. of Anaheim, California. Mr. Hess started his career in the plastic sheet, rod and tube business working as an inside salesperson at Cadillac Plastics. He spent 4 years learning from expert veterans in the industry. At that point he moved to Industrial Plastic Supply, a leader in the High Performance Plastic materials on the West Coast. He started by learning each position, including a brief time in shipping and receiving, inventory control, purchasing and inside sales.

Hayden was quickly promoted to outside sales representative, and then in 1998 he was promoted to General Manager. Mr. Hess has assisted with the continued growth of Industrial Plastic, and worked to bring some of the best talent in the industry to join his team. The 15 members of the current sales team have an average of over 20 years experience in the industry.

The continued success of Industrial Plastic Supply is nothing short of remarkable. Mr. Hess attributes this to the vast experience of the sales team, the cohesive working relationship of the entire team, and the vast in-stock inventory of engineering, mechanical and performance plastics. Industrial Plastic Supply was founded in 1975 with a vision to support local machine shops and industrial users of Performance Plastics. At that time, most of the plastic distributors had been focusing on Acrylic and Polycarbonate Sheet materials. “Most of our clients would place orders with one of the other suppliers, and then wait for two to three weeks for them to ship it out from the East Coast” said Mr. Hess.

“We knew that if we stocked the largest inventory of these materials, and could fill most mechanical plastic orders from stock, that we would be successful. While we don’t stock everything, we do inventory a vast majority of the common engineering and performance plastic materials that our clients request” says Jeff Ritchie, General Manager. This simple strategy has proved to be very effective in the 43 year growth of the company.
