William De La Peña MD to Co-Chair Symposium at ASCRS Annual Meeting in DC

(Newswire.net — February 24, 2018) Santa Ana, CA — As 2018 moves into full swing, UC Regent Emeritus William De La Peña‘s schedule is filling up fast. This spring he is scheduled to be a moderator of the Combined Simposia of Cataract and Refractive Societies at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Annual Meeting in Washington DC, the weekend of April 14. 

Many of Dr. De La Pena’s extracurricular activities have been focused on helping the ophthalmological medical community improve their quality of service to patients in many capacities. The symposium in April will be focused on “Surgical Essentials: Getting You Out of Trouble in Cataract Surgery,” chaired by Edward J. Holland MD; and co-chaired by Beatrice Cochener MD, William C. De La Peña MD, and Ronald Yeoh, MD.
