(Newswire.net — March 12, 2018) Orlando, FL — Antibiotics are a popular remedy for urinary tract infections, even in children. However, it is also important to remember that this type of medication could also produce undesirable health consequences.

Antibiotic resistance has been found to be a growing problem in children. UTIs are a type of infection that could be unbearably painful to deal with. This is why sufferers are prescribed with medications like antibiotics, which are believed to work by fighting not just the bad bacteria but also the good ones.

According to the research study published online in The BMJ, there are many children who suffer from urinary tract infections (UTIs) due to Escherichia coli bacteria. Unfortunately, these young sufferers are becoming unresponsive to antibiotic treatment.

In this study, the research team reviewed 58 former investigations. These research studies were conducted in 26 countries, and they collectively reviewed the 77,783 E. Coli isolates in urine samples.

In industrialized countries, it was found that 53.4 percent of the pediatric UTI cases were resistant to one of the most prescribed primary care antibiotics.

It is further worth mentioning that almost a quarter of the young patients located in industrialized nations were also resistant to two types of antibiotics. In poorer countries, there was 79.8 percent antibiotic resistance in childhood UTI cases.

A warning was released by Grant Russell, PhD, head of the School of Primary Health Care at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and author of an accompanying editorial. He warns that when these current trends persist, it could potentially result in a serious situation in which antibiotics will cease to be beneficial to young UTI patients.

The good news is that there are safer alternatives to these side-effect-causing antibiotics. One is D-Mannose, which is widely used by many individuals who suffer from infections affecting the bladder and urinary tract.

Today, more and more people are eyeing the use of natural remedies to fight a variety of symptoms and diseases. The use of natural ingredients is widely popularized by their efficacy and their inability to cause adverse effects.

Individuals who do not want to be at the risk of suffering from side effects due to antibiotics may consider the use of Divine Bounty D-Mannose formula. Divine Bounty is believed to be one of the most reliable herbal supplement manufacturers today.

This D-Mannose formula is carefully crafted in an FDA-approved facility in the United States to deliver the UTI-fighting effects of the natural remedy. It is highly potent so consumers can actually take advantage of the abundant levels of D-Mannose’s healing properties.
