Dr. Barr to Host Second Talk on Breast Implant Controversy

(Newswire.net — March 16, 2018) West Palm Beach, Florida – Dr. Fredric Barr, world-renowned cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon, is pleased to announce he will be hosting a second special event to talk about the recent controversy surrounding breast implants and the options available to women. It will be his second time speaking on the subject in less than a month due to the tremendous response received from his first seminar.

Dr. Barr’s first seminar, held February 28, 2018, was so well-attended that registration closed ahead of the event date. A second event is planned for next week to meet the high interest expressed in learning more about this controversial subject.

Dr. Barr’s Breast Implant Controversy Seminar, “Living in the Solution”, will take place on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Spa at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens. The event is free of charge.

In this seminar, Dr. Barr will outline some of the issues caused by breast implants and discuss the solutions that are available. Time will be allotted at the end of the presentation to answer questions from the audience.

The controversy around breast implants stems from reports that some women are experiencing health issues which they believe are connected to their breast implants. Years after undergoing breast implant procedures, some women are reporting autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances and gastrointestinal problems and are electing to remove their implants.

Dr. Barr endeavors to empower women through education and support to help guide them in making the very personal decision about whether or not to remove their implants. He believes it is the role of the plastic surgeon to educate women on the options available to them and to encourage them to choose what they feel would be best for their own personal health.
