Getting Over the Excess Weight

(Newswire.net — April 19, 2018) Cheyenne, Wyoming — Monica Riley weighed as much as 700 lbs at one point and actually wanted to be the fattest woman in the world. Yes, that’s right, the fattest. While most people are concerned about losing weight, there are some who desire to be just the opposite. But two years on from declaring that goal, things have changed for Riley, she’s now in fact trying to lose weight.

“At one point in my life, I wanted to be the biggest woman in the world. I wanted to be bedbound and immobile and be fed even more,” said Monica Riley of Fort Worth, Texas. “But now that I am pregnant, it’s been a wake-up call. I want to be able to be active with my child. I want to be able to get up and with him or her and be involved in every way. You can’t do that if you’re immobile. I don’t want to lose any more babies and I didn’t realize how dangerous it was to be pregnant at this size before. I want to be healthy enough for the baby to keep growing.”

Yup, she got pregnant and it actually took two previous miscarriages for her to really understand that being obese was a serious health issue. Thankfully, her third pregnancy progressed to the point of her being induced early and she’s now a mom to a healthy little girl as of October 2017. Given this new addition to her life, she’s exercising more and eating very differently, hopefully this story will help others realize the magnitude of getting their weight under control for health reasons.

“Updated August 31, 2017: According to the most recent data, adult obesity rates now exceed 35 percent in five states, 30 percent in 25 states, and 25 percent in 46 states,” discloses The State of Obesity, an advocacy group campaigning under the slogan Better Policies for a Healthier America. “West Virginia has the highest adult obesity rate at 37.7 percent and Colorado has the lowest at 22.3 percent. The adult obesity rate decreased in Kansas between 2015 and 2016, increased in Colorado, Minnesota, Washington, and West Virginia, and remained stable in the rest of states.”

This is definitely a cause for concern as America’s obesity rate continues on to climb. While it’s not disclosed which diet plan Riley is using, scientists have determined that the ketogenic diet is best for long-term weight loss success.

“Different methods for reducing weight using reduced calorie and fat intake combined with exercise have failed to show sustained long-term effects,” explains the U.S. National Library of Medicine research paper entitled Long-term effects of a ketogenic diet in obese patients. “Recent studies from various laboratories, including our own, have shown that a high fat diet rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (ketogenic diet) is quite effective in reducing body weight and the risk factors for various chronic diseases. The present study shows the beneficial effects of a long-term ketogenic diet.”

It’s good to know that there is a fast, effective and sustainable diet which naturally relies on the body’s back up fuel system. Ketosis is the process behind the ketogenic diet and as such, it’s the by-product known as ketone which directly breaks down fat cells for energy. There are also exogenous ketones developed to help induce ketosis, whether or not a high protein/low carb diet is fully undertaken.

Of course it’s best to focus on dietary changes but in the event that it just isn’t possible, the HealthyWiser™ KetoFast™ Supplment Powder is a great exogenous ketone option as it supports brain health, enhances nutrient absorption and boosts energy levels in addition to burning fat.
