(Newswire.net — June 11, 2018) — Harbour Holidays has appointed two new key staff members in customer service and marketing to assist with the Cornish cottage holiday company’s continued growth.
Padstow based holiday company Harbour Holidays has appointed two new team members to help with its continued growth.
The two recruits – Samantha Harrington and Dawn Haddon – join five other employees at the self-catering specialist located in the heart of Padstow.
Harbour Holidays has expanded considerably over the last few years and now manages over 150 properties in the Padstow area.
The new team members will assist with sales and marketing tasks to help the company’s continued growth over the coming years.
Samantha Harrington joins Harbour Holidays as a lettings agent and marketing assistant, responsible for supporting customers and holiday home owners.
Samantha studied Travel and Tourism at Bournemouth University, where she graduated with a 2:1 in Tourism Management. She most recently worked as a Travel Agent Support and Client Coordinator for a company in Brisbane, during an extended trip in Australia.
Upon returning from her travels, Samantha settled in Cornwall having had many happy holidays in the area as a child.
Commenting on her appointment, Samantha said, “I feel so fortunate that I get to work in Padstow, where I daily witness people enjoying their holidays in one of Cornwall’s main attractions.
“I look forward to helping people choose the right holiday home, providing advice and guidance, and being a general point of contact for people whilst on holiday.”
Similarly Dawn Haddon will be assisting the team as a lettings agent. Dawn recently moved to Cornwall, following a career as a Visual Merchandiser and Window Dresser for stores in the London area.
Dawn commented, “What drew me to Harbour Holidays was the diversity the job role offers. One day I can be answering queries from guests and owners, the next I’m dropping off welcome gifts to all our guests.”
She added, “I’m lucky enough to call Cornwall my home, and I want all of our guests to adore this beautiful county as much as I do. Nothing makes me happier than when a guest comes into the office to say “Thank you”. I love to hear all their experiences and to know that Harbour Holidays has played its part in making their holidays amazing.”
The new additions have also prompted a staff reshuffle which sees long-time employee Emma Brown take on the role as Marketing Manager.
