Harvard: hundreds of dropouts including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg

Everybody knows Mark Zuckerberg and his Harvard University dropout story, but not everybody knows that he is not the only success story without diploma. It turned out that there are many famous businessmen who did not graduate Harvard but really had success in life.

We can take as a good example another tech giant, Bill Gates, made an unusual chose: he simply decided to forego graduation from the Ivy League school. Thus, he is in the group of the most successful dropouts in a history of Harvard.

There is another notable alumni who did not graduate from Harvard. Olympic athlete James B. Connolly and poet R. Frost, musicians Bonnie Raitt and Pete Seeger. We must admit that songwriter and composer C. Porter and world-famous actor Matt Damon were also in a group of successful dropouts.

As far as we can judge, Harvard university dropout does not mean a student won’t be great in life and business. But other than that, they are students who have graduated from Harvard university and made a great career.

University of Texas: many prominent entrepreneurs

This alma-mater has many famous successful dropouts among businessmen. University of Texas holds as minimum of two prominent entrepreneurs who did not have any chances to ‘hook’ their degree from Austin.

We talk about Michael Dell, a genius who founded the computer empire Dell and John Mackey, a businessman who founded Whole Foods, one of the most famous healthy supermarkets in history. Both of the businessmen dropped out of University of Texas.

To tell the real truth, nor Dell neither Mackey claimed university was something they needed to start up a successful business. As a matter of fun fact, Michael Dell says that his persistence and hard work multiplied to years of attempts is his personal secret of success.

Concerning John Mackey, he says that spending time with books was one of the main things to start up and rule such cool business as Whole Foods. He says that only passion and persistence are those factors which can lead a dropout to success.

As you can be aware of it, today it does not matter that University of Texas is one of the most famous alma-maters in the USA. Everybody can reach everything, even he was a dropout in the past. It is not that surprising that persistence and passion can help to start a business.

Yale: thousands of successful dropouts

It may seem that graduation from university is a true success and a ticket for a good life. To tell the one truth, today everything has changed. And a former Vice President did not get his diploma at Yale. A few years later he has been transferred to University of Wyoming.

Both University of Wyoming and Yale alma-mater are great, but he wanted to graduate from the last one. As a matter of interesting fact, today this dropout is happy successfully running his own business.

Who more? Actor Claire Danes is among Yale university dropouts. And actor Paul Newman also did not finish his study at Yale. Former Vice President Dick Cheney did not graduate from Yale but has riches much.

Today Yale university is one of the best university in the world. People from all over the world want to be enrolled there and only a few percent can say they have entered there. Yes, study at Yale university is very cool, but does not bring any guarantees a man will catch great success in life.

Yale alma-mater as well as other top alma-maters are great for networking, not for guarantees. There are not any guarantees in life. It is the primary rule for everyone who wants to reach success in life.

Columbia university: the academic home for many famous faces who did not make it

Everybody knows Columbia university: it is in books, it is on TV and it is on the Internet. Many teens dream to become a student of Columbia university one day. But again, only a few are aware of obstacles they must face in the university.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jake Gyllenhaal are two names who dropped out of Columbia university and had success in life. Between these super-famous drop out actors, there are at minimum of eight Golden Globe nominations and one win. We must say that there is also an Academy Award holder and more than ten Screen actors guild award drop-outs of Columbia university.

According to Brainy Bro, it makes sense to read university ratings, have goals in life and be persistent, but we have to say, studying in a university does not mean a student will live a successful life without any boundaries.

New York University for Tisch: A quiet bay for celebrity drop-outs

New York University of Tisch is famous since it is an acclaimed school of performing arts and different media. Both of university offer to complete their studies for everyone. But they forget to mention that it is not easy.

Famous voice from “Frozen” movie, actress Kristen Bell did not make it at New York University for Tisch. As well as diva Lady Gaga and the world-famous film director Paul Thomas Anderson.

They were entered to the university to follow their dreams, but the university did not mean their expectations.

There are another famous face that left NYU early. For example, we can tale Ben Cohen, one-half of ice cream duo Ben and Jerry’s. What is with Jerry? He did not end up graduating from Oberlin College in Ohio, but really still made a good career.

As far as we can judge, graduation from university does not mean problems absence, it does not guarantee you will have money and all resources to make your dream come true.

It is just another notification to keep in head and think before you enter university or make any other important step in your life. You will have to pay with your youth, time and brain.
