Warren Farrell PhD Announced as Recipient of the 2018 Milley Awards

(Newswire.net — August 3, 2018) — Mill Valley, CA – The Executive Committee of the Mill Valley Awards for Creative Achievement has announced the recipients of the 2018 Milley Awards, which will be presented at the annual Milleys Dinner held Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the Mill Valley Community Center.

Dr. Warren Farrell, PhD, author of bestselling titles such as The Myth of Male Power and, most recently, The Boy Crisis: Why Our Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It (BenBella Books; March 2018) was a selected Milley recipient for Literary Arts, based on his outstanding body of work over the course of his professional life. 

Dr. Farrell has appeared on over 1000 television shows and has been interviewed by Oprah, Barbara Walters, Peter Jennings, Larry King, and Charlie Rose. He has frequently written for and been featured in The New York Times. He has taken the stage at more than one TedxMarin talk. His latest work, The Boy Crisis, has received endless acclaim, including in publications such as The Seattle Times, The National Review, Psychology Today, to name a few. Dr. Farrell, in conjunction with the release of the The Boy Crisis, has also been interviewed more than 100 times on television, radio, and on podcasts.
