(Newswire.net — August 28, 2018) Seattle, WA — Northwest Student Exchange (NWSE) promotes more opportunities for Americans to host international exchange students by welcoming the new batch of foreign exchange students this coming school year. Also, sending U.S. students to another country to learn and explore more about other cultures and the world is steadily increasing for Northwest Student Exchange.

The U.S. continually remains a popular educational destination, especially for foreign exchange students. The U.S. contains both progressive and integrated education system that develops not only local students but also foreign exchange students to innovate, broaden and lengthen their horizons.

Recently, the U.S. State Department approved High school exchange program stated school safety concerns, American politics, and the general distrust of foreigners by Americans made a significant impact in the past year.

But the dedication of NWSE since 1987 goes on to bring people together in a spirit of good will and cultural understanding. The screening and selection of all exchange students and their host families are cautiously processed. NWSE is proud to maintain a high Student Placement Success rate over the years. So, there’s personal attention to the individual exchange student reassuring the families from both sides of their safety and security. Moreover, the NWSE provides and coordinates with the exchange students and host families medical and accident insurance, travel, and visas.

One testimony from a host parent said, “I felt like an ambassador! I wanted to show off the America where I grew up, that helped raise our kids, and that I know and love. I don’t think people realize how opening their homes to an international student opens doors to more than just members of the family and the student coming to live here. Hosting brings something to the surrounding community as well. It says something positive about our schools and our communities, to be able to take in non-immigrant students for a yearlong cultural and academic experience. It exposes them to the real America that is not the one they see in the media or the news.”

NWSE continues to promote foreign language study, international education, and cultural exchange by offering affordable student exchange programs for the high school students worldwide. The exchange students also do not just feel comfortable and enjoy living with their host families and attending high school, but they also receive the supervision from a local NWSE Academic Coordinators. What’s more, the exchange students also have the opportunity to widen their social circle while participating in an NWSE-sponsored cultural and social gathering.

A foreign exchange student who left the suburbs of Paris in August 2017 to live in Wilmington, NC said, “It has been the most incredible, awesome, and amazing year of my life!”
