(Newswire.net — October 8, 2018) Winnetka, IL — While stress is normal when experienced occasionally, it gets dangerous for health when it turns chronic.

Scientists have investigated it, and found that prolonged stress triggers the brain to tell the bone marrow to manufacture more white cells.

This has been notoriously known to result, not just in inflammation, but also narrowing of the arteries. This narrowing of the arteries may potentially affect the supply of oxygen to the heart.

Thus, too much stress can cause a heart attack. In the same way it can cause a stroke if the artery affected is an artery supplying our brain.

In the United States in 2015, reports reveal that overall stress levels have increased slightly. There were also increased percentages of adults that reported extreme levels of stress compared to 2014.

It has been found that money and work are the major causes of significant stress. Family responsibilities are considered to be the third most common stress factor. It is followed by personal health concerns, health problems affecting the family, and the economy respectively.

Younger individuals and women have long been found to struggle from stress. They are the populations that have reported increased average stress levels.

Experts warn that prolonged stress has an ability to affect the body and one’s thinking, feeling, and behavior. Nearly all of the systems in the body can even be affected by stress.

More importantly, it could contribute to the onset of chronic diseases. This includes hypertension, diabetes and obesity. Stress often manifests in the appearance of muscle tension, tiredness, headache, insomnia, low sex drive, and indigestion.

Health authorities strongly recommend resorting to the measures necessary in warding off diseases.

Ashwagandha is one of the natural remedies believed to be helpful in reducing stress. According to researchers, it may have effects on rat brains.

In a study, it has been found to block the stress pathway. It did so by regulating chemical signaling in the nervous system.

In some controlled human studies, ashwagandha was able to effectively decrease symptoms of individuals with stress and anxiety disorders.

In a 60-day study of 64 people with chronic stress, it was found that ashwagandha group reported an average reduction of insomnia and anxiety by 69 percent. This was compared to the 11 percent in the placebo group.

Another research study was conducted and it lasted for 6 weeks. It was found that those who took ashwagandha reported a decrease in anxiety by 88 percent. The placebo group, on the other hand, only had a 50 percent reduction.

The anti-stress benefits of this natural ingredient may be obtained through the use of NutraHerbals Ashwagandha.
