(Newswire.net — October 23, 2018) Bend , Oregon — The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research is pleased to announce the following additions to our diverse team of highly-trained doctors. Each brings valuable skills and specific pediatric expertise to the team that will help keep pace with Central Oregon’s continued growth.

Fellowship trained in pediatric neurosurgery at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Dr. Priscilla Pang also has a strong interest in spine and functional neurosurgery. She enjoys working with a diverse patient base from infants to older adults with a thoughtful, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary approach. With her training in pediatrics, she is able to cross over minimally invasive techniques for a general population. She is experienced in providing care for all aspects of pediatric and general adult neurosurgery, including brain and spine trauma, spina bifida, brain and spine tumors, degenerative spine, tethered cord, Chiari malformations, and other congenital disorders.

Dr. Pang completed her medical education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and did her neurological surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University. She says, “I am passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life. My care philosophy is to treat each patient like I would want a provider to treat myself or a family member, providing the most compassionate and effective care possible.”

Dr. Justin Roth has experience in all facets of pediatric orthopedics, with specialized training in limb and spinal deformity, hip preservation, foot and ankle conditions, sports medicine, and neuromuscular disease management, as well as pediatric and adult trauma. He was motivated to pursue this specialty because he enjoys working with children and their families and using his extensive knowledge and training to make a difference in people’s lives. Children are not just small adults. Their growing bodies require specialized orthopedic care, whether treating a fracture or a complicated medical condition like limb and spinal deformity.

Dr. Roth completed his fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and did his residency at Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley, California. He says, “I’m committed to providing the highest level of quality orthopedic care to Central Oregon’s youth. There is nothing more rewarding than helping them thrive.”
