Health Authorities Warn Against the Symptoms of Acute Mania

(Newswire.net — November 14, 2018) Orlando, FL — Today, there are many people who suffer from acute mania and are left undiagnosed. Experts warn that consumers should learn about its symptoms for early diagnosis and treatment.

According to health authorities, there is believed to be a multidimensional nature of manic symptoms. There are three clinically meaningful factors, namely irritable mania, elated mania, and psychotic mania.

The International Classification of Diseases-10 (ICD-10) and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-IV (DSM-IV) classifications consider mania as a uni-dimensional illness.

In a study, the researchers were able to identify some symptoms exhibited by manic patients, and they are thought disturbance, overactive and aggressive behaviour, and elevated mood, as well as vegetative symptoms.

Rossi et al. reveals that mania and mixed mania may have five factors, which correspond with activation-euphoric, depressive, psychomotor retardation, hostility-destructive and sleep disturbances.

Scientists continue to investigate these manic disorders, and warn people to make sure they take better care of their brain health.

Medications are the primary treatment of mental health conditions. However, some researchers are investigating how some natural remedies can work in fighting these ailments.

Studies were published in the Australia & New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry in 2015.

Scientists suggest activated charcoal shows promise in the treatment of psychotic mania.

In Goldstein et al., 2009, it is found there is a substantial evidence that bipolar disorder can be linked with an abnormal immuno-inflammatory background.

This has led researchers to speculate that when an inaugural manic episode occurs shortly following gastrectomy, it could have been induced by altered gut microbiota and intestinal barrier dysfunction.

This was a recommendation from Collins and Bercik, 2009.

In Howell et al., 2006, researchers hypothesized that activated charcoal is a potent adsorbent of inflammatory cytokines, which neutralizes the effect of inflammatory mediators in the gut.

Researchers further suggest it may improve both systemic inflammation and manic symptoms.

While more studies are still underway to validate the effects of activated charcoal, its use is extremely widespread nowadays.

It is worth mentioning activated charcoal can be used in cases of food poisoning, hangovers, constipation, diarrhea, and teeth whitening.

There are supplements like Divine Bounty Activated Charcoal found to be extremely beneficial in delivering the natural remedy’s healing goodness.

This amazing formula may be helpful to individuals who want to have a reliable and effective source of activated charcoal. It is thought to be superior over other brands, and is even carefully crafted in an FDA-inspected facility in the United States.
