(Newswire.net — November 20, 2018) Bountiful, Utah —Optima Fantasy Sports, the number one fantasy sports analytics provider has finalized deals with Yahoo Fantasy Sports, DraftKings and FanDuel. The fantasy sports space has become more condensed despite growing to over seventy million players in the U.S. and twenty-three million in Europe and is still growing exponentially.

More companies and players are leaning towards analytics to give them a competitive advantage in a highly aggressive and rapidly expanding arena. Founder and CEO Troy Brazell stated, “This is a momentous opportunity as companies are striving for better information and players are pining for a competitive advantage. We offer that solution for both.” Brazell then said “The original roadmap for the company did not include fantasy sports; however, with the lack of good information and the number of players we decided to throw our hat in the ring.”

Optima launched into football last year with very impressive results.

The Optima Fantasy Sports models have proven to be more than two and a half times stronger and more accurate in optimizing line ups for players and generating more points, (wins). This is according to third party sources, who sited the Dunnington Thesis from the University of Oregon’s Department of Economics and members of the Fantasy Sports Trade Group. Optima took different data sets and developed the performance models and put the analytics into an easy to use optimizer. Team members at the Optima Fantasy Sports office pointed out that just over the past four weeks their projections were three times more accurate than that of competitors showing Mitch Trubisky (Quarterback from Chicago Bears) and New England’s Defense on Monday night football, where the models were nearly perfect.

Optima Fantasy sports is now looking to expand into other sports including basketball, which will be open on their website, www.optimafantasysports.com this winter.  They will be adding soccer, hockey and baseball as well as cricket in the Spring of 2019. Brazell said “We are all in and going aggressively into the markets. Now that we have solid partnerships, we will be the number one fantasy analytics offering on the market. If players want an edge, they will come to us.  It doesn’t matter if they are playing on one of the big three, or on a smaller site, they still need a competitive advantage.”

The Optima team has been involved in the development of performance models for over two decades. They are the only company that has proven to directly impact winning percentage, helping two NFL teams win three Super Bowls, an NBA Championship and assisting an MLS team in going to the cup to play a team whose salary cap was five times greater. Brazell said, “Our models have proven to be stronger and more accurate across all sports because we look at performance differently. Now, with the advent of sports betting starting to flourish, the Optima Sports Group Team is looking to get in the ring again being asked by major casino groups as well as insurance companies to help develop sports book models.”
