The king hardly heard an eagle flying to him when a sword seems to appear from the fish he was eating. It is that sword. The king retained it after being protected by his trained guards even if he was stabbed with it into his heart. For this reason, this sword is identified as the sword of bravery.
Mo Ye and Gan Jiang
These swords are known as the swords of love as they are named after the names of an inseparable couple of a wife and a husband.
History Behind Gan Jiang and Mo Ye Swords
There was a blacksmith Gan Jiang who was requested to make a sword for the king; but he could not make the sword due to lack of enough heat in the fire required for this purpose. His wife then threw herself into the fire to provide her husband enough heat to make that sword. She told him that they will meet again.
The two swords were then made by Gan Jiang and he named them Gan Jiang and Mo Ye. He put the Mo Ye sword with him and given to the king the second one. When the king came to know that the blacksmith had kept one similar sword with him, he decided to punish him. At this moment, Gan Jiang asked himself how they could meet again. The sword Mo Ye turned into a dragon and the sword with the king also disappeared.
The sword saw the dragon in a lake, after six hundred years, and united again after converting into a dragon. A new couple was seen in that town on the next morning. The husband used to make agricultural tools as a blacksmith and his wife used to cool him down while working near the fire. So, for this reason this pair of famous Chinese swords was known as the swords of love.
