(Newswire.net — January 25, 2019) Orlando, FL — Diabetes prevalence continues to increase at an alarming rate. Health organizations have been taking measures to stop the condition from spreading to no avail.

According to experts, the steady diabetes growth rate adds more health care burden. The report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) finds that 9.4 percent of the U.S. population has diabetes.

It is further worth mentioning that another 84.1 million have prediabetes. This condition pertains to one that could develop into type 2 diabetes when not properly addressed.

In 2015 in the United States, diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death.

CDC Director Brenda Fitzgerald, M.D. says although these findings reveal some progress in diabetes management and prevention, there are still too many Americans with diabetes and prediabetes.

“More than a third of U.S. adults have prediabetes, and the majority don’t know it. Now, more than ever, we must step up our efforts to reduce the burden of this serious disease,” she adds.

The National Diabetes Statistics Report could be helpful providing information on diabetes prevalence and incidence, acute and long-term complications, prediabetes, risk factors for complications, mortality, and costs in the United States.

It is always important to be warned that diabetes is a serious ailment, and it can be managed through the use of certain medications. When not properly managed, it could potentially lead to various complications, such as blindness, kidney failure, stroke, vision loss, premature death, heart disease, and amputations.

There are also other ways found to be helpful in managing the condition, such as following the right diet and exercise.

Some B vitamins like niacin could be helpful against diabetes. While there are medications available, niacin has been found to be useful in the management of the condition.

According to scientists, this autoimmune disease called type 1 diabetes pertains to the body attacking and destroying insulin-creating cells in the pancreas.

In some studies, it has been found niacin aids in protecting these cells. What makes it even more beneficial is that it has been able to demonstrate its potential to reduce the risk of type 1 diabetes in at-risk children.

Researchers reveal that in individuals with type 2 diabetes, niacin has been able to reduce cholesterol levels.

Niacin remains as one of the widely studied vitamins today, and this is due to the myriad of health benefits it offers.

It can be obtain by consuming certain types of food, but there are also highly potent and pure supplements available.

One is Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex, which is gaining more and more positive reviews from consumers.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6.
