(Newswire.net — February 16, 2019) Costa Mesa, CA — Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) is launching a new and improved Aftercare Program to prevent addiction relapse and aid individuals in their recovery efforts. LVRC is pleased to announce that the Aftercare Program will begin accepting clients on January 8, 2019.
Addiction is a serious disease that can affect anyone. Statistics show that more than 80 percent of individuals who have completed a treatment program will relapse and return to drug or alcohol use within their first year of recovery. This is a national issue, especially in the wake of the opioid crisis. More than 700 Nevadans died related to a drug overdose in 2017.
To prevent relapse and overdose, LVRC is providing a specialized Aftercare Program that will guide individuals in their process to life-long recovery.
The Aftercare Program is a support group forum designated for participants to discuss the issues that they are facing throughout their recovery. This forum also offers unique mindfulness-based therapy and spirituality practices similar to the Best Detox pa.
Our clinical and medical staffs support addiction research, indicating that long-term recovery is more easily attainable after one full year of treatment and community reinforcement.
Aftercare services are available for clients who have completed or left an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or an Outpatient Program (OP). Our facility will also welcome clients from other rehabilitation centers, participants with a referral from thirty-day Inpatient Programs or others who have completed IOP treatment in the past.
Having a detailed and comprehensive treatment plan is essential to preparing clients for each part of their journey in recovery. At LVRC, the aftercare plan includes a referral to the LVRC Alumni Association, which serves as a bridge from treatment back into life and long-term recovery. LVRC’s programs provide empirically proven benefits, showing significant improvement in the client’s well being after treatment.
Aside from our Aftercare Program and Alumni Association, LVRC also provides an array of levels of care; this includes medically monitored methadone detoxification, substance abuse disorder programs, residential options, and a chronic pain recovery program.
