(Newswire.net — June 18, 2019) — Being a success in a trade show is easier said than done. There are many external factors that you cannot control. Your place on the floor, the number of guests, and the competition that you are up against, especially those which are beside you. All you can do with these is manage their impact, regardless if it is positive or negative.

Your trade show booth, on the other hand, is one factor that you can control. When done right, all the external factors that determine your success will be solved. However, it is easier said than done. You need to get it just right for the booth to work more effectively for you.

The question is how?

  1. First Impressions are Important

This goes against our “idealistic” human nature, but we have to face the truth that people are judgmental individuals, and one’s opinion of a company can be formed in one fifth of a second and most of that is based on the creative decisions that you have made. For a trade show, that comes down to the booth.

That is why, if you are going to get one from stand suppliers in Vegas, make sure that it is as creative as you can get all the while fits perfectly with the message that you want your brand to convey.

  1. Humans are Copycats

There is a saying, “Monkey See, Monkey Do”, and this cannot get any truer. This is based on man’s social nature. They tend to copy what a group of other individuals do, especially if it is not causing anyone harm. So, if they see a crowd surrounding your booth, they tend to be more attracted to it.

What you can do is assign certain staff members to dress like attendees and crowd around the booth as if you they were onlookers interested in your brand, and do not forget to engage these “guests” every now and then. Success is in the details, and if you do not approach them, it could get suspicious.

  1. Create a Lasting Impression

First impression got the guests to the door. It is now the overall booth experience that will drive them to stay.

Games and quizzes are interesting enough, but you can get more creative than that. If you have enough space within your booth, why not add another level? Make the games more interactive. Make the guests move in ways that are relevant to your brand or whatever your cause is. Ingrain yourself, not only in their minds, but also in their bodies.

Of course, a big reward is a must in the end, and with all the commotion going on, it might just pique the interest of others even when the games have ended.

  1. Technology is Your Best Friend

Do not be afraid to use technology. Regardless, if it is social media, interactive touch screen displays, or an app that sends messages to passersby, inviting them to your booth, whenever they are close enough. As long as it can help drive guests to you, use it.

Of course, it should be with a purpose and not just for the sake of it.

Trade show booths are important cogs in your success. In itself, it is a great tool. However, if you add even the tiniest detail may seem to be a great deal of help. Again, success is all in the details.
