Once you have successfully transported the plants it is time to dig the same into the base. But make sure to do it really carefully, else you may end up chopping the roots. Use hand shovel and start digging a ring around the area from where you intend to take out the plant. Re Plant

Or you can place them at trenches till the time you place them at the final location, but keep watering the same to keep them hydrated and in good condition.
