(Newswire.net — October 17, 2019) Orlando, FL — In young men, colon cancer has been found to be rare. However, some reports show that the rates of this fatal condition have skyrocketed by 11 percent in the last 10 years in individuals under the age of 50.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveals that 7 out of 10,000 30-year-old men will get colorectal cancer before turning 40.

The National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER), on the other hand, says that when detected early, the chances of surviving colon cancer are pretty good.

As a matter of fact, around 90 percent of people with localized cancer survive for at least five years.

However, according to Anton Bilchik, M.D., once the cancer has spread to distant organs, the cure rate depends on what therapies are used and the extent of the cancer.

Bilchik is chief of gastrointestinal research at John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica.

Health authorities warn against having blood in the stool and abdominal discomfort as it could manifest the presence of this fatal condition. It may also lead to night sweats and thin stools.

When it comes to reducing colon cancer risk, it is wise to take into account the use of some nutrients like calcium.

According to studies, participants who consumed ample amounts of calcium in their diet appeared to have the lowest rates in the development of colon cancer polyp.

It is worth mentioning colon cancer polyp is considered to be a pre-cursor to the growth of cancer. When the body ingests sufficient amounts of calcium, the remainder binds with waste material as it goes out of the body.

Researchers say this significantly aids in inactivating a number of carcinogenic waste compounds.

It is a well-known chelating agent, used therapeutically for its ability to bind and neutralize many toxins.

Researchers carried out the Nurses’ Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study.

In this research, it was found there is a stronger link between calcium intake and the risk of colorectal cancer. It involved over 135,000 participants.

It has been found that intake of over 700 mg of calcium per day led to a reduction in the risk cancer of the distal (lower) part of the colon by 35 percent to 45 percent.

In another large research of Finnish men, higher consumption of calcium was also linked with the decreased risk of colorectal cancer.

To increase intake of calcium, it is wise to consider the use of Divine Bounty Men’s Multivitamins.
