The new Ultimate Equine Bodywork Certification Course bundles three major certifications into a single affordable program. Participants are certified in horse massage therapy, equine kinesiology taping, and equine craniosacral therapy. The center has launched this bundle to meet the growing demand for Continuous Education and therapy options for equine care professionals.

Despite their immense strength and endurance, horses tend to develop injuries, pains, and other conditions during or after training & competition. These injuries affect horses participating in dressage, Western, trail, gaming, or jumping events.

Horses tend to compensate for pain or discomfort by changing their gait or loading, affecting other muscle groups. Left untended, these changes could cause long-term injury and even end the animal’s career. The equine course bundle certifies participants in myo-manipulative functional therapy, Kinesiology taping protocols & techniques, and cranial adjustments for horses.

Course participants learn to evaluate equine behavior and use multiple techniques including therapeutic massage, body alignment, neuro-myofascial release, and Swedish, TMJ, & Shiatsu massage. The course covers equine anatomy, safety protocols, animal Reiki, and other bodywork.

The course equips equine care professionals with proven methods to treat horses for back pain, ligament injuries, post-surgical and post-trauma swelling. The course’s focus on equine emotional health allows caregivers to treat cases of nervous energy and reaction to past abuse.

The courses are available at any location and are self-paced. Courses feature easy-to-learn content through demonstration videos and presentations.

Holistic Animal Studies courses are accredited and approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB). Other approving bodies include the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

According to a spokesperson for the horse bodywork certification provider for animal caregivers, “We are delighted to offer this horse massage therapy bundle as an affordable option to trainers and caregivers who are looking to improve the quality of their horse’s life.”

Holistic Animal Studies is headed by Dr. Angelique Barbara, a qualified veterinarian, published author, speaker, and chiropractic professional.
