(Newswire.net — December 10, 2019) Orlando, FL — The global rates of heart disease continues to increase, and this has led health authorities to take some measures in reducing its prevalence. Scientists have been performing research studies to see how this condition can be prevented in a natural way.

The American Heart Association published a new scientific statement in its journal called Circulation.

In this report, it has been found that regular eating patterns and planning the frequency as well as the timing of meals can offer some benefits.

This particularly includes not just a healthier lifestyle, but also a reduction in the risk of diabetes, stroke, and heart disease.

This statement from the AHA offers an overview of the present scientific evidence, which suggests how often and when people eat influences their risk factors for stroke, heart attack, as well as cardiac and blood vessel conditions.

Research has demonstrated that in the United States, there have been changes in the adult behavioral patterns of consuming meals and snacks over the past 40 years.

In women, it was found there was a reduction from 82 percent to 77 percent in energy intake from meals. Further, there was an increase in energy intake via snacks from 18 percent to 23 percent.

In the United States, scientists found that many are in the habit of eating around the clock, rather than adhering to certain meal times.

Marie-Pierre St-Onge, Ph.D., writing group chair, and an associate professor of nutritional medicine at Columbia University in New York City, said that meal timing may affect health due to its impact on the body’s internal clock.

Today, it is hard to deny that there are many foods that contribute to the onset of various diseases and disorders. Consumption of these foods, combined with irregular eating patterns, may lead to undesirable health consequences.

The AHA researchers recommend consumption of breakfast on a daily basis may reduce the adverse effects linked with glucose and insulin metabolism.

Having a healthy diet and avoiding a sedentary lifestyle has long been recommended to take better care of heart health. There are also medicinal ingredients that scientists found to help fight heart ailments.

In lab studies conducted from around the world, researchers were able to see that resveratrol has the ability to reduce the risk of heart disease. What makes it even more beneficial is that it decreases damage due to stroke.

Some scientists believe it can lessen atherosclerosis, which includes inhibition of oxidative stress, control of blood vessel diameter and muscle tone, and inhibition of LDL (low-density lipoprotein) oxidation.

It is worth mentioning the use of resveratrol has been linked with many other health benefits. There are supplements like Divine Bounty Resveratrol that could deliver the therapeutic goodness of this powerful antioxidant (www.amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Strength-Extract-capsules/dp/B019C0UU5S).
