With a mission to provide individualized, life-changing assistance to families with children battling cancer, cystic fibrosis, and other life-threatening illnesses, it was a perfect fit for Jupiter-native Ball Elordi, who has a strong commitment to giving back to her community.

“I was born and raised in Jupiter,” Ball Elordi explains. “I attended school here and my practice is located here. This community has been incredibly good to me, and I want to show my appreciation by giving back. I’m thrilled to support the Chasin A Dream Foundation because they support families right here in Jupiter who are struggling with the heartbreak and hardships that accompany a child’s illness, treatment, or untimely death. I’m grateful for the opportunity to volunteer and look forward to attending their We Rock as Lions fashion show fundraiser on April 1, at the Mirasol Country Club, where our firm has purchased a table.” 

Chasin A Dream Founder Lori Griffith spent 18 years in healthcare, which gave her a firsthand look at what these families and their children face. Last month, Hughes & Ball P.A. participated in a Christmas toy drive for Chasin a Dream but took it a step further by organizing a special day at their office for one of foundation’s “warriors,” a child named Grayson, who suffers from an extremely rare and incurable blood disease called Hypereosinophilic Syndrome. Marci and her colleagues threw a party for Grayson and his mom, complete with cupcakes, balloons, Christmas presents, and a check to help with expenses.
