(Newswire.net — April 16, 2020) Orlando, FL — According to the American Heart Association (AHA), adults who are over the age of 20 are advised strongly to get screened regularly for high cholesterol. This is one of the steps that could be helpful in managing health levels of cholesterol.

It is also worth mentioning that there are other ways to enhance cholesterol levels. Some scientists even investigate on their association with sleep.

Researchers have found that having too little or too much sleep can have negative effects on the body’s lipid levels.

In this particular research, they looked into a group of 1,666 men and 2,329 women over age 20. They found that sleeping less than five hours at night increased the odds of high triglycerides and low HDL levels in women.

Further, obtaining over eight hours of sleep has also produce the same result. It is further worth noting that men tended to be not as sensitive to oversleeping as women. The findings of this research were published in the Journal of Caridovascular Nursing.

The investigators particularly revealed that that having too little sleep also results in high levels of LDL cholesterol. Subjects who slept less than six hours every night has significantly increased their risk of suffering from cardiovascular disease.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that there are 73.5 million adult Americans who have high levels of LDL cholesterol.

Experts have long been investigating on the ways to help consumer manage their levels, and one is to use a natural remedy called activated charcoal. Activated charcoal is one of the popular highly adsorbent remedies being widely researched on by scientists today.

More and more studies are looking into the remarkable healing goodness of activated charcoal. Scientists carried out a study and it involved intake of 4 to 32 grams of activated charcoal on a daily basis.

It has been found to decrease total and bad LDL cholesterol 29 percent to 41 percent in those with high cholesterol levels. Researchers suggest that this natural remedy works wonders in trapping cholesterol and cholesterol-containing bile acids in the gut to prevent their absorption inside the body.

There are many supplements available in the market today, and one to consider is Divine Bounty Activated Charcoal.
