French Researchers Reveal Key Discovery About Antibiotic Resistance

(Newswire.net — June 3, 2020) Orlando, FL — Antibiotic resistance continues to be a serious public health issue today. This is why the scientific community seems to be unstoppable in terms of finding its permanent solution.

In a study, scientists discovered a membrane pump in a majority of bacteria that help E.coli acquire drug resistance from neighboring cells. This occurred even while they’re exposed to antibiotics.

According to the French researchers who carried out the study, the Escherichia coli has the ability to synthesize drug-resistant proteins despite the presence of antibiotics designed to cripple cell growth.  Although not involved in the study, microbiologist Manuel Varela of Eastern New Mexico University says this is a key discovery.

“This finding will help explain how bacteria manage to spread antimicrobial resistance as they encounter toxic levels of antibiotic,” he adds.

It is worth mentioning that such a discovery was a surprise to the senior author of the study, Christian Lesterlin, a bacterial geneticist at the University of Lyon. He along with his colleagues initially worked on the project to develop a real-time microscopy system. This is for the purpose of observing in detail plasmid transfer—a process by which bacterial cells share DNA with one another.

Today, more and more researchers are carrying out studies to look into the best possible ways to reduce antibiotic resistance rates. However unfortunately, such rates continue to soar in many areas around the globe.

One of the major driving force in the skyrocketing rates of antibiotic resistance is the increased demand for antibiotics, which are widely used in cases of urinary tract infections.

It is worth mentioning that experts have been pushing to resort to the helpful measures in reducing the risk of UTIs. This can significantly help decrease or eliminate the need to use antibiotics, which in turn decreases drug-resistance rates.

There are many ways to reduce the risk of UTIs, and one is through the use of natural remedies like D-mannose. This plant-based compound has long been studied on by researchers due to its remarkable UTI-fighting benefits.

D-mannose is a popular subject of research as it shows promise in effectively reducing the odds of UTIs. This powerful healing natural remedy is even thought to be a safer alternative to antibiotics.

It works by sticking to the E.coli and preventing it from causing the infection in the bladder. It can be obtained through supplementation, which is a method extremely effective in delivering its UTI-fighting goodness.

One of the formulas to consider using is Purest Vantage D-mannose, which has been gaining popularity in the global market today (http://www.amazon.com/Mannose-Capsules-600mg-Per-Cap/dp/B071J35CP5).
